Jack Morrice Higgins, Harahan passed away Friday, July 13, 2007 of naturel causes.
He was 86 years old. Beloved husband of Kate (Hoogenboom) Higgins. Father of two daughters, Patricia Schupp, Columbia, S.C., Jane Couvillion, Louisiana, and a son, John Higgins, Planoa Texas, he is also survided by five grandchilderen and two great grandchildren. He was a son of the late George Higgins and Fanny (Morrice) Higgins.
Mr. Higgins was retired from Chase Bag Company in New Orleans. LA.
He was a World War II Navy veteran serving on the U.S. Beatty.

He was a member of the Lionsclub in Goshen, Indiana and was a 1938 graduate of Goshen High School.
Mr. Higgins was a native of Goshen, Indiana was a resident of Metairie since 1957 and after Hurrican Katrina, was residing in Harahan, La.

The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd. near Clearview Pkwy. Metairie, La. on Saterday afternoon July 21, 2007 at 3 p.m.

There will be a memorial gathering on Saterday from 2 to 3 p.m.at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be send to the charity of yours choise.
